Christmas In July

The Directors and the Board of Directors for the Bonneville House, The Clayton House, and the Fort Smith Museum of History are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Christmas In July, a family fun, holiday market festival. The 2-day collaborative event on July 14 and 15, 2023 will celebrate all the feels of Christmas and excitement of early holiday shopping! The VIP party will drop guests into the middle of a festive Christmas evening, complete with exclusive holiday vendor shopping of more than thirty-five multi-state vendors. A special ticketed event, “Merry Morning Mimosas” kicks off Saturday shopping. All day Saturday is general public vendor shopping and free children’s holiday themed activities, all under one roof at the Fort Smith Convention Center!

“Christmas In July” VIP party will kick-off Friday night at 6:00 pm at the Fort Smith Convention Center. Guests will be transported to a delightful Christmas evening created by Karen Lewis. Exclusive vendor shopping during the VIP party will allow guests to choose their favorite Christmas gifts early! Seasonal flavors such as meats aged with a smoked sweet rub, creamed spreads, platters of roasted vegetables with lemon and sage butter, desserts and galantines accompanied by Tahitian vanilla crème and butter boards elevate the flavors of the Christmas holiday. Live music will carry party guests through the festive evening as it continues with silent and live auctions, wine pull, and a donation raffle featuring an exquisite bracelet from our beloved Newton’s Jewelers. (Must be 21 to attend the VIP Party.)

Christmas shopping continues on Saturday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm. The morning kicks off with unique shopping opportunities and “Merry Morning Mimosas”, an exclusive ticketed event that coincides with general shopping. Join us for an all-day public vendor shopping of more than thirty-five multi-state vendors and free children’s holiday themed activities, all under one roof at the Fort Smith Convention Center!

All proceeds from Christmas In July benefit the Bonneville House, The Clayton House, and the Fort Smith Museum of History.
