About the event

In February 2021, Grant Thomas of Sol Studios in Fort Smith approached the Fort Smith Museum of History on behalf of the City of Fort Smith to inquire about our archives on Black History. The museum was able to offer images, photographs, research, documented history of the black community, and a space for recording.  The Fort Smith Museum of History is very proud to have been a part of the development of this short documentary "The Fabric of Fort Smith." which discusses and highlights people and leaders within the Black community. See it for yourself this coming weekend on the big screen! Matinee showtimes only at the Malco Theater (1200 S. Waldron Road). Dates: February, Friday the 11th, Saturday the 12th, or Sunday the 13th at 1PM, 2PM, 3PM, or 4PM.
