The popular Murder and Mayhem Haunted Tours are back, 2021 style! A partnership between the Fort Smith Museum of History, the Bonneville House and The Clayton House, our organizations are happy to return for another year of haunted tales, eerie historic facts and spooky local legends. The narrative is as colorful as Fort Smith's past!

The Tour and Progressive Dinner features haunted and gruesome stories from years past. Guests will meet at the Bonneville House at 5:30, where the fun starts—then load up for a hayride to the museum. The stories begin at the Fort Smith Museum of History with drinks, appetizers, ghost stories, and a peek at haunted areas of the museum--then a short jaunt to the “Gallows” for encounters with spirits left behind. The hayride returns to the Belle Grove Historic District for an elegant dinner at The Bonneville House where guests will dine Al fresco and then head into the Historic District to hear gruesome historic facts and eerie local legends where real haunted houses are pointed out and their dark secrets revealed. The evening winds down at The Clayton House with decadent desserts and the final telling of stories.

As guests will be outdoors for the hayride, dinner, and stroll, please wear comfy shoes and dress accordingly for the weather.
