About the event
Each Wednesday in June at 2:00pm, join us at the Fort Smith Museum of History for "A Slate Full of Victorian Tales".
There will be thrills, and frills, and tales from the hills during the “Slate Full of Victorian Tales” reading event at the Fort Smith Museum of History.
Join us in the Victorian classroom to hear special stories read to youngsters by Nancy Ahlert beginning at 2pm each Wednesday in June. The stories will best be received by youngsters four through ten years of age, although all young readers are welcome.
This exciting program is included in the price of entry to the Fort Smith Museum of History.
After the readings, a group of Nancy’s friends will delight her guests with special programs and projects to enhance the story. There is so much to hear, and so much to learn. There will be a different story every Wednesday, so your young readers will have an exciting new adventure each week.
When the reading is over, our guests will be treated to a cup of ice cream in the Museum’s old-fashioned ice cream parlor.
